The ascent of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, is a must for any self-respecting climber, and a one-off adventure for all others. Nevis Bank Hotel is in the ideal location from which to start. Why not stay with us before and after your climb, enjoying a hearty cooked breakfast with us before you set off, happy in the knowledge that a cold drink, good food, and (most importantly !) comfortable bed will be waiting for you on returning to the hotel.
If these challenges sound a little too strenuous, don't worry, there are plenty more to choose from - why not ride the downhill mountain bike track down Aonach Mor, enjoy a day on the piste at Nevis Range, or, if the weather is simply too bad ( it can happen in Fort William, believe it or not !!! ), how about trying the excellent indoor climbing facilities at the Ice Factor in nearby Kinlochleven.
